1 week

Ok so the past 5 weeks have gone very quickly. I have finished work and right now I am taking a nice little vacation before my big journey. Here is my upcoming schedule. On Friday Dec. 28th I leave Dallas for Miami. I am going to Miami to see my cousin, his wife and their beautiful baby girl! I cannot wait. I have to enjoy the warm weather while I can! Haha, Then on Monday Dec. 31 I leave Miami and fly to Milan with 2 huge duffle bags and 2 carry-ons! That should be interesting. As soon as I arrive in Milan, I change planes and I fly to Florence. I arrive on New Year's day. And I move into my apartment on Jan.2. So as you can see its going to be an extremely busy few days! But I cannot wait to start 2008 in Florence.

Anyways, on Wednesday night I had a little going away party at an Italian restaurant in Dallas. (You would think I would have chosen something besides Italian food) haha. Here are some pictures from it. Thanks to everyone who stopped by! It really meant a lot to me.

I guess my next post will be from ITALIA!!!!!!!!!

I found an apartment

Ciao everyone, I Just wanted to let you all know.... I found an apartment. This is what it says under the description: This small studio is located in the centre of Florence, steps from the Duomo. The historic stone palazzo, dating back to the fifteenth century, is where artists like Donatello and Michelozzo had their sculpting and architectural workshops.( PRETTY COOL!) The apartment is one block from the Duomo or main cathedral. And good news for everyone who wants to come and visit. My apartment sleeps 2! So pack your bags and come visit me in Italy. I will be sure to show you a great time!

Well, Things are going well here. Still counting down the days till I make my big trek across to Europe. I am very excited. OH, I wanted to let you all know... my school has a big fashion show at the end of the year that showcases designs by students.

GO to : www.polimoda.tv to check it out. The designs are incredible!

I am attaching some pictures of my apartment. It is small, but perfect for me. And I know that I will enjoy every second of it! CIAO xoxoxox
